Author’s Purpose
Harrington began writing after her son’s life-threatening medical complications at birth and subsequent diagnosis at age three. Her books are designed to explain complex medical and emotional experiences in child-friendly language that builds understanding rather than fear. “Each story comes from lived experience as a mom navigating a world I never expected,” Harrington shares. “My goal is to give families language, hope, and connection when they need it most.”
